OTHERWISE KNOWN AS RULES AND REGULATIONS…
You didn’t think you’d gotten away with NO rules, did you?? Ideally we’d like to do that, but some people actually like to know what’s ok and not ok to do.
If you must cancel our time with your pet, we need 24 hours’ notice to rearrange our schedules, otherwise you’ll be charged for the first cancelled visit. We'll make some exceptions for emergencies. Related to this is early arrival home. If your plans change and you miss your pup too much or just want to sleep in your own bed, the service will be charged as scheduled.
LATE BOOKING FEE:
Appointments booked or extended less than 48 hours in advance are subject to a $20 fee. This can also be blamed on our need to rearrange our schedules. Some exceptions may be made for emergencies here as well.
We arrange our schedules carefully to be certain your pets are well cared for. We also enjoy celebrating the holidays with friends and families but the nature of our work means we frequently miss family time. Because of this there is a $10 surcharge for each visit on any of the following: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Weekend (or Passover), Memorial Day Weekend, Independence Day, Thanksgiving & day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.
Please Book early! You never know how quickly our schedule might fill up!
We won’t charge for giving meds – unless we need a second person to help give them. Then there’s a $10 charge for each administration. Warning: Cats come from another planet! Giving them meds is a dicey operation. Many won't interact after first meds from a "stranger." Please consider that when making plans.
If you wait to pay longer than 10 business days past the final visit, then we may charge a $20 late fee.
Insufficient funds are also a problem! They carry bank fees. An NSF fee will be billed to you depending on what the bank charges us!
Two keys are required for security. One set remains with the sitter and the second is in a secure lock box for emergencies. Unfortunately this is so important that we’ll actually make a second key and add the charge to your bill if you haven’t given us one.
Keys can be returned to you, including copy. The first pick up and drop off are free, but a charge of $5 will apply to any subsequent pick up and/or drop off. Many clients like the idea of having us keep their keys in our lock box for future use. It makes the process of booking that much easier! (Besides, we can help when they lock themselves out -- no charge!)
